Great finish to this one, looked like it was getting out of hand but WCU battled back. NDC may have taken the victory for granted. Still found a way to win by the slimmest of margins, as NDC does. All three playoff games have been great.

Huh? Notre Dame had ONE 55-yard TD run that led to them having 66 yards rushing at halftime. McLaughlin had just ONE decent run and that didn't come until the third quarter.

Great season by WCU it'll be interesting to see what happens next year under center with Mike P, Yamir Wilkerson and Shane Dooley all battling for the starting position.

At halftime, it was pretty clear that the 55-yard TD run was the only successful play they had. Watching the replay of the game, the Notre Dame announcers said as much. I suppose you didn't see me anywhere since the camera was so far away.

151 rushing yards overall. 55 on 1 TD run, 24 on another, and 18 on a fake punt. So that was most of it. WCU sold out to stop McLaughlin with a ton of tackles behind the line. But that left their young DB's fighting for their life and they got exposed a bit. Plus, like on the long running plays, once they broke through the line, they were gone.
