Unless she threatened violence they can't do anything as a state school without a lawsuit or two. It's the downside of free speech. In the past I've told students off the record when they've posted prejudiced crap that its going to get really uncomfortable so they should consider transferring.

Sadly, as informed as a lot of students are, many potentially productive young people are totally throwing away opportunities because they don't seem to grasp how much damage a presence on social media can do their careers. IT NEVER GOES AWAY !!
