That's some Big O-line guys at Fletcher. Simmons is 6' 6' 310 and the other two kids pictured with him on his tweeter are the same size if not a tad taller.

Not sure WCU needs to extend seven offers to a kid but, hey, if you want him bad enough...

Whoever gets that Jacob Dunfee kid will definitely get a steal, kid is a straight beast, very smart, athletic and strong and could probably be a 4 year D2 starter. I thought he would get a late FCS offer but it never happened and apparently he doesn't want to do the Prep route or JC he just wants to go to college and play ball. Can't knock him for that. I know Millersville, Lincoln and a few D3s also came in late with offers but I think Bloomsburg will land him.

Just remember verbal commits don't mean a thing. Kids continue to get recruited long after they tell the world how blessed they are on Twitter. Until ink hits paper ... they are all still open game. Some think other programs back off once a kid gives a verbal but that's hardly the case.

Very true back when I was a senior in HS back in 2000-2001 my classmate was a star BB player who was a late bloomer, gave a verbal to Delaware Valley College (D3) then La Salle came through and offered him a scholarship which he accepted before signing. This was before the rivals/247 era of course and the day after he signed with La Salle UCONN called him to offer him a scholarship unknowing that he already signed on the line with La Salle. Turned out great for him he was a 2x A-10 player of the year, rookie of the year, played with the local hometown 76ers with AI for a half season and spent 10+ years overseas before recently retiring and being inducted into the La Salle Athletics Hall of Fame. If I'm a HC until signing day and I see I lost a kid I'm actively recruiting him.
