Boyle is undersized for d2 for sure but so is the DL from Tamaqua Bronson Strouse, his listed size 61 255 is pushing it greatly, nothing against him, he's a great kid and played well, but Boyle has clearly a Bigger upside because he could play multiple positions, The coaches obviously visited Jim Thorpe and Tamaqua why the heck did not push and sign Boyle.
I see no offers from any school for him. If he wanted to go to college, there should be something listed on the sites I visit. He was touted as a top player in NEPA.

Coach Sheptock said in a radio interview that the prize in the recruiting class was the OL. It was much needed with only 9 returning for spring practice. He talked about 5 wide receivers, with maybe 1 or 2 more on the way.

Look for the offense to spread the field more with 1 back and the qb in the shotgun. He wants to have an up-tempo, no huddle offense. Spring practice starts 3/19. It will be interesting to see this faster tempo with horizontal and vertical passing.

How you feel about the offensive changes the new coach wants to implement ?

If it works and they win, I'll like it a lot. I will miss the ground and pound with a fullback. Bloom will look like every other team now. They are going to put more pressure on the qb to read the defense and make calls at the line of scrimmage. Look for offensive sets to get one on one coverage and mores screens of all kinds. Leiby is the man who ran that kind of offense in high school, but if he gets injured, it'll be a long season.

The offensive changes were much needed, but I still don't know how they will do with all the assistant offensive coaches there. I still think they should have switched that up. Leiby needs to be kept 100% the whole season, and will need to learn to throw the ball away more. The offensive line is more than good enough in the PSAC this year.
