    That's a small one.

Back then Indiana Mall (still exists) and Regency Mall had theaters.

I think that one was aptly named the Indiana Theatre.

I saw two of the iconic movies of my childhood at Indiana Mall -- Goonies and Return of the Jedi.

I remember Jedi had a line wrapped up past BonTon

In total, the investment in upgrading the Punxsutawney campus for the culinary academy and new medical initiatives exceeds $25 million in state, federal, and private funds.
AI isn't always so reliable: The proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine will be in Indiana, not Punxsutawney.

I knew that. I was waiting for somebody to catch that.

Correct. I see that PASSHE authorized $50M for the medical school building - any idea where that will be located?

There's also $5M going into the culinary building in Punxy.

I thought IUP was repurposing Sally B for the medical college?

                      That could be the case.

Unrelated, but two articles in today's Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Penn West enrollment.

This is not AI-generated. It's from IUP website. I think that in addition to the buildings mentioned, some parts of it will be in the new science building but I don't know if it's all finalized yet.

IUP’s Indiana Campus Long-Range Facilities Master Plan update, approved in January 2024 by the IUP Council of Trustees, recommended Johnson Hall, Uhler Hall, and Stright Hall be the site for the health sciences cluster. This three-building renovation will provide a transformational modern medical education facility, supporting and housing the proposed college of osteopathic medicine and related IUP health science programs in the College of Health Sciences.

Spending half of the Sumner of 1984 in the basement of Stright Hall trying to
create programs for Intro to Fortran. It’s when changed my major from computer science..felt like I was going to be entombed for four years down there…
