  • OT - Washington Monthly University Rankings

I mentioned them in the Money Magazine rankings thread, so here they are. The methodology was created by people who study university outcomes, so I trust it the most.

    Why is Shippensburg dropping?

BTW....The Centre County Community College was only 108 and the Oakland Junior College was 153 in the National Rankings.

According to Washington Monthly...IUP is the Stanford of the PSAC!

It looks like most PSAC schools rank higher in this poll. It appears they are ranking based on much different criteria. Here we have criteria based on what schools due for the country, "social mobility, research, and promoting public service". The Money poll is looking for "quality and affordability", more like measuring the best bang for the buck. They both could be right.

In the right poll you could probably rank a Ford Focus ahead of a Mercedes. Just sayin'
