13 TD's to 19 Int's ugggghhhh while he will probably be a serviceable backup QB don't think he comes in and steals Mussina's job.

I guess the flipside of that theory is high school seniors can't 'take it' officially until signing day. Most schools offer about triple the number of players that they can actually take.

Obviously you don't get every kid you offer and even those who verbal can burn you at the last second. So, plans B, C and D need to be in place. Schools also burn their own high school verbals if somebody better comes along (see SRU this year). It's a shady, cut-throat endeavor. End of the day a verbal doesn't mean diddly -- from either side.

Once signing day passes it's a different story. At that point when a coach tells you sign today or tomorrow they'll have signed somebody else ... often times that is true.

I've heard IUP is only planning to sign 6-7 high school players this year in addition to transfers. Sounds like their 'class' this year could be 6-7 high school players and 5-6 transfers. That's it.

Seems like a great year for the second-tier programs to get some really good high school players that in other years they likely would have lost out on.
