West Chester- A good week for WC to work on finding who the starting QB is....Bentley is a playoff contender. Hurst is overachieving if they win 4.

Shepherd - expecting Gannon Offense to struggle up front... and then in general.

Shippensburg- Boro lost top pash rusher, 2/3 of LB's, and over 100 starts in the secondary from the top 3 db's ....seems like a good week for Mussina to put up big numbers. Boro also loses their best offensive weapon by far and their best OL is the starting LG for Toledo at Notre Dame on saturday.

California- QB practice week for Cal

Millersville- I think Ville has more talent than Clarion overall. Clarion was lucky the LE game was even close.

IUP -

Seton Hill - SH beat Wheeling with 5 turnovers (-3) If they can clean that up a bit. Idk if Bloom is better than Wheeling....maybe?

Slippery Rock - Shoot out. Low expectations for SRU D.

Ferris State

Iowa State- Iowa State seems to struggle the opening week every year and hasnt beat Iowa in years. But they shouldve won at home 2 years ago.

Pitt- Odds Pitt wins at Tennessee and loses next week at home to Western Michigan? I'm taking Pickett over Joe Milton basically.

West Chester at Mercyhurst - Honestly, this is a toss up. That was a bad loss to Bentley. I think they get it figured out, but it could be close.

Shepherd at Gannon - Impressed with the win last week; they keep it rolling here.

Shippensburg at Edinboro - After a slow start last week they should have their footing and take on an untested Edinboro team.

Lock Haven at California - They beat Lincoln last week but won't be as fortunate this week.

Millersville at Clarion - That was a bad loss by Clarion, but I think they have just a little too much talent.

Kutztown at IUP - Very nervous as there was no game last week to see what we have. If the QB for IUP does well, they win. If not, this could be a long year.

Bloomsburg at Seton Hill - As IUPbigINDIANS would say, all 12 people in the stands will be going home very disappointed.

East Stroudsburg at Slippery Rock - There are a lot of question marks for this SRU team. I think ESU makes it interesting but SRU pulls it out.

Ferris State at Ashland - I think this will be a close game, but going with Ferris State.

Iowa at Iowa State - I liked how Iowa looked vs. Indiana. This may be close, but just too hard not to favor the Hawkeyes.

Pitt at Tennessee - Que all the die hard Pitt fans thinking that a big win against UMASS is setting them up for a big season. There are three certainties in life: Death, Taxes, and Pat Narduzzi teams underperforming.

You wouldn't be surprised if you watched the game. Defense I thought played well. The punt team is an absolute disaster and was forcing the defense into terrible field position for the majority of all ODU's scoring opportunities. When they got good field position, it usually resulted in them punting it back to Shepherd.

Yes the unspecial teams were horrible last week, three count them three bad snaps on punts, a fumble on a punt return, fielding a punt inside their own five, and giving up an onside kick. I have no idea if our punter is good or not. All of that can be corrected and I am sure that was a focus in practice this week.
