Did you guys think Rock was going to drop 15-18 spots off one loss? And magically IUP was going to go from unranked to top 15? Can you guys be somewhat realistic for these meaningless polls?

I think we naturally look at these polls in isolation without much context. At face value, we assume this is an attempt to rank the top 25 teams but in reality they're power rankings largely dependent on where the team was ranked the prior week. That's how you get low SOS teams like Cal and Rock ranked so high.

Nothing to do with IUP. How is Kutztown getting no love in either poll? D1 polls seem to make sense and get taken seriously. These are just pretty bad. How often do you ever see a D1 team ranked No. 5 in one poll and No. 20 in the other? Not too often.

How can Kutztown possibly be behind SRU? It makes not a wink of sense. How can IUP possibly be behind SRU? It makes not a wink of sense. It just loses all credibility for the polls.

Yeah. Why the hell wouldn't they? They have no quality wins, a crappy SOS and just got blown to pieces by the only good team they've played all year. Somehow that 'resume' keeps them in the Top 16? LOL. Yeah right.

Kutz was 17th, iup was 20th I believe.
