If I recall correctly that's two straight for GU in the 500s. Perhaps they get a boost this week with SRU coming to Erie (not from the locals but the visitors).

IUP 'may' have had 4,821 in the first quarter but nowhere near that number in the third quarter.

Actually surprised Clarion got 819 considering it got 999 for Homecoming.

Edinboro has played two straight games in a cool mist. That sucks and undoubtedly affects attendance. You lose the longtime locals & retirees who come to everything as well as students.

Gannon already has underwhelming attendance but weather absolutely dropped it even more.

This time of year you better be in the race if you want to keep selling tickets.

I do not have a very high expectation for IUP's gate this Saturday. It may not crack 2,500. I can't imagine Edinboro will travel well although the HC is a local to these parts (Apollo).

While Gannon attend has always been a near bottom feeder, at least in football, two home games in a row with temps in the 40's and continuous rain downpour does not help. Mercyhurst less then 2 miles away had no rain on Saturday. Being near the lake is fine in summer but rotten in October.

Rained steadily through much of Ship's Homecoming, including most of the first half of the game.

Don't want to make excuses for GU's stinky att but just explaining why it was lower than the normal 1200
