But, yeah, he'd be a MAJOR addition.
Really hoping the Rams pull it off, they need his position bad.

I am shocked at the exodus from Cal. Do any Cal fans have an inkling to why so many big time contributors have entered the portal?

              • He has a freaking cannon of an arm. Sounded like (from the paper) they want him to work on his finesse passes a bit (i.e. not be throwing 99 mph fastballs on short screens).

He could have quite the statistical season this Fall.

Yeah he definitely has a cannon. His faith in his arm got him in trouble at times at Pitt.

He us a blast to watch, though. He'll stair down a WR here and there, maybe make a bad read, then make 2 or 3 throws in a row that a lot of d2 qb's just can't make.

                    Why did he leave there?

I don't know for sure. He graduated, but he also got benched late in the season after throwing one pick too many. The backup did a good job and got the start for the last game or 2 of the season. I kind of think the writing was on the wall for Mak at the end of last season.

I felt for the guy. He played under 2 staffs and 4 completely different offensive schemes in his time at Pitt..

That said, in the event he gets hurt, my confidence level takes an extreme nosedive in the position. I saw they signed the kid from The Kiski School. Are they still shopping for a 2022 backup?

                          • Brent Musburger is 83 today.

Without question my favorite announcer ever.

                            Jack's in second.
