I was waiting for a post on Facebook to see if they made it. Golf is moving vs among too.
Who would have thought out of the top three men’s sports at IUP that Beisbol would do better than Foosball and Joeball this sports year.
Let's not forget Women's Tennis here. IUP just won the PSAC and Region. It is the 4th consecutive PSAC championship and 6th out of the last 7. They move on to the NCAA tournament in Florida next week. Go IUP!

Softball made the Pee Sack tournament.
Track had some success but as always Track U took the titles.
They win the track titles for every season and get Dixon Trophies out of it.
Why bother pouring money into foosball when you can recruit a handful of track athletes..make them run in the fall, winter and spring and get the Dixon Trophy that says you are the bestest athletic program.
You mean the top seed Warriors avoided a choke by rallying past IUP in the first game.
But Walk On U took care of business and denied you the conference title which is a choke.Thank you Walk On U for cock blocking the school that instigated the IUP Rule , has the nastiest broadcasting group and of course Scoreboardgate.

Stop the baloney. Ship has won exactly one Dixon Trophy since 2011. West Chester has won five out of the last nine awarded and Gannon has won the last two. You don't win it by being good at one sport.

Nation's argued before that football should be weighted.

You could the first 10-15 years it was given out. When did you win them most?
Maybe you stopped winning them once they changed the process of calculation and your track titles in every season weren't as potent for the scores.
IUP had a down year this year so this years winner will be legit for once.
So don't argue with me that it's not flawed because it has been since the start...first the IUP Rule then we create a trophy that IUP can never win.

Absolutely. There isn't a ladies sport that is equivalent in size and cost. There isnt another men’s sport that is either. But for now foosball counts no more than running around traffic cones in indoor track. You can be named best AD in the league and never have one winning season in foosball..right Ms. Taylor?

Although everything you said is true, Slippery Rock will probably win the Dixon Cup for one reason and one reason only. They finished first or second in men's and women's track which in itself is ok, but there is an indoor and an outdoor season. Why the PSAC awards points for both seasons is beyond me since I venture to say it's the same athletics competing! Kinda like having indoor and outdoor basketball or volleyball for that matter. Hence, football has one chance to gain Dixon Cup points, but men's and women's track have four opportunities. Just a random thought for consideration.
There are imbalances with the system. Yes, a strong M/F indoor and outdoor Track program weights the score towards performance in T&F. Yes, Football costs more than any other sport. So what?
These things don't matter too much. The Dixon Trophy is what it is. The scoring system ranges across all sports. No sport is valued higher than any other. Schools can field a roster of teams in the way they see fit. Nobody does that so as to win the Dixon Trophy.
Ultimately, the scoring is what it is. These value judgments don't matter.

It was a conspiracy!
:-)
No we were winning them then because the program overall was doing better. You have as much chance to win the Dixon Trophy as any other school does. The schools choose what sports they invest money in. And If the track titles aren't as potent as they once were, as you just stated, then your argument makes even less sense. The last time we won the Dixon was in 2016-2017 when we had a decent 7-4 football team and the PSAC champion basketball team with a 27-4 overall record. You are not going to win the Dixon with nothing but a good track team. It that were true once, it obviously hasn't been true for the last 15 years, so your argument is unsupported by fact. So ***** at West Chester and Gannon, who appear to have the formula as they have won seven of the last nine Dixons. Gannon did actually win basketball this year, which might evaporate quickly now that Fee is gone. It's been a while since West Chester has done anything especially outstanding in either football or basketball. They've usually been competitive.
