    • I don't know if anybody else saw that but I don't think it was baserunner interference on Yard.

        • 2nd inning IUP gives up 4 runs on (1) hit. Yikes

It wasn’t but if he would have just slid they wouldn’t have called anything.

That was a disasterous inning. The starter wasn’t ready for the big time but he certainly wasn’t helped out when the shortstop threw the ball away on a routine play. If they make that out it’s likely a completely different inning. For the first time IUP looks a little choked up in the moment. Let’s hope they can work their way out of this hole.

7 innings left. Big test for IUP.

              • Walks and bean balls. Repeat.

                This is ugly.

Typical of a situation when you’re out of pitching. They probably should have started Tooley today. There’s a long way to go though. They need to drag this out, scratch out a couple runs, and give themselves a chance.

                  • Still in the game but they need to get a couple more runs soon to apply some pressure. Too bad you can’t redo the 2nd inning because otherwise it has been a good game.

Yes it was!!! Good for IUP and good for the PSAC.

                        • It was a tall order to take it all but wow what a season for them.

Today was a long shot. Bullpen games are tough. Take away the disastrously bad 2nd inning and it was pretty close.

One thing to keep in mind is this all kind of came a year early. Next year was the season getting most of the buzz earlier. This team is incredibly young. They return a ton next year. Kline has been very good at building around high school players while filling needs with transfers. I suspect he will land a very strong transfer class. This was only his third season. The pitching depth wasn't quite there.

They are certainly on the map now.

It was without question the best story of the year at IUP.

Can you imagine Torts takes the foosball title next season.

Joe ball gets back on top.

                              Then we take beisbol.

Then they hand the Dixon trophy to the school that won lawn darts, dodge ball and ping pong.
