Speaking of WRs, didn't they add another transfer from Colorado Mesa this past Spring? I don't see him on the roster.
They have some burners but very little size beyond Ridley. With two already lost for the season I wonder if this is a spot they are still shopping.

This is SRU’s division and I see two programs going in opposite directions. As an IUP fan it hurts to say it but setting fandom aside that’s what I see. That beat down IUP got up there last season wasn’t a fluke. While I don’t think the gap is as big as the score was in that game, it’s still a pretty big one. We won’t know a ton until the ball is kicked off but on paper it appears to me SRU got stronger and IUP mostly stayed the same.
I do think IUP can finish second and possibly snag a playoff spot. I don’t expect Cal to be better than IUP.

Tort's team for whatever reason played scared up there last year. They started slow (shocker) and then the curb-stomp was well on. Make no mistake, SRU had a better team. Obviously.
I'll give you an example of how teams change.
When IUP beat the crap out of SRU up there in 2021, IUP embraced the giant crowd. They were taunting the crowd back during warm-ups and had an epic field entrance where the team stopped on the track, turned around and taunted the SRU student section. Fast forward to the debacle last year (the young team as we've heard 100 times) and IUP looked like lost puppies up there from warm-ups on. I could tell while they were warming up that IUP was going to not only lose but get hammered.
Point is so much now changes from year to year. Last season is over. You could be right, but I'm not ready to anoint any team just yet. IUP had every possible thing -- on and off the field -- go wrong last year. Perhaps that 'luck' finds another team this year.
