Well, he’s the most talented dude on your roster. The one guy other than Duane Brown that really made you worry with the ball in his hands. I surely wouldn’t pumped that he’s leaving town 2 weeks before your first game. Especially with how banged up the position is right now.

Why would I be 'pumped' and why are you being combative?

I'm not on the team. It's not 'my' first game.

We'll never hear the actual reason he's leaving anyway. It may not have been his choice. Maybe it was. One way or another, the show goes on.

All we know is he was held out of practice Thursday and Friday. No reason provided.

One would assume the RB1 duty will now either be split (or a battle) between Bloomsburg transfer Kaleb Monaco (a very decorated PSAC runner) and Adam Houser.

Immediate depth will be true freshman Amir Major and senior Randy Washington.

They could also move JD Younger back to RB (he switched to DB in the Spring).

Tort can also obviously shop the waiver wire and see who is available. Amazingly a lot of players become available during camp after getting passed on depth charts, disgruntled, dismissed, etc.

He just got eligibility taken care of earlier in the day and got injured in a non contact drill according to the article. He was going to be a starter. That, combined with Stewart leaving the program and entering the portal, takes two offensive starters away before the first snap of the season. Tort wouldn’t comment on Stewart’s departure, which tells me he got himself into trouble and broke team rules again. If that’s the case, good riddance. He can go be a problem somewhere else.

I knew he was tossed. No player in their right mind would enter the portal on Aug. 20.

It's a shame for all involved.

Things aren't looking good on the offensive side of the ball.

Unfortunately if Tort is going to surf the waiver wire he'll likely just be shopping for other peoples' dismissals. That's not to say it can't work. Sometimes people just need a change of scenery and leadership.

No matter how you spin it, it's very disappointing.

Impressed they've kept this out of the Gazette. The charges sound like the report would be an entertaining read.

I'm thinking this is going to be a more positive thing for you guys then some might think. Stewart was talented, but Monaco is pretty talented as well. They are about the same size, and you still have Houser and Younger behind him. It's virtually the same group in terms of impact/talent. Minus a headcase now, which for the whole team is probably a good thing. Less distraction, and now more head coach spin opportunity of us against the world!

Keenan Brown, however, was a MASSIVE loss. They do have a couple younger WRs coming off redshirts they are pretty excited about.

I'd venture to guess we see a few additions in the next 48 hours. What can you find off the street on Aug. 21? Probably more than you'd think. But, there's usually a catch.

If this was campus police or Indiana Borough ... something like this would have been squashed the night it happened. The State boys unfortunately don't care about Tort's program.

Remember the name Maurice Massey…Nothing else needed to say about that room….RB will be fine as Monaco/ Houser are mature counted on guys. U don’t think Monaco doesn’t want to perform after 3 years in dismal Bloomsburg u are nutz….just sayin
