What big program is gang banging them for a check that day? :-)

Night game means Edinboro won't need a hotel. IUP would probably feed them. Very affordable trip with a likely SOS boost. Edinboro doesn't start league play with two road games like IUP does, so they can do this. For IUP, it's a good opener with a quality team, and at home.

Less home games for Team Tort the better.

Every team is different. The 2022 IUP team might be lights-out at home and sluggish on the road.

Not according to the PSAC schedule. Edinboro tends to schedule a non-conference game.

I knew 20-some years ago when IUP just about beat Youngstown State (in their heyday) that we'd never see another local 1-AA (now FCS) game again.

Same token the local small D1s would rather go out and play the money games (like Duquesne is playing at Florida State, etc.). It is comical Pitt, Duquesne and Robert Morris are in the same city and refuse to play each other in football.

Joe can't even get an exhibition against any of the local D1 schools. Every year when they travel to Kentucky or Syracuse, etc., he makes sure to mention it. John Calipari even took at shot at it after IUP played them a couple years ago. He said they have to come the whole way down here because nobody in Pittsburgh will play them. Remember the IUP ladies beat Pitt a few years back at the Pete. They are likely never getting invited back.
