  • I like them both but I've always preferred Sheetz. That's probably because I didn't always have access to Wawa. We have two Sheetz in Lititz, but we have a Wawa in East Pete and one in Ephrata.

Because of proximity I'll pick Sheetz first, but Wawa is growing on me.
    GO HUSKIES!

Closest to there now is Limerick , Montgomery County for a Sheetz.

I'd say up through about 2007 or 2008 both had some really good food (by gas station standards).

It's been a steady decline (for both) since.

Food-wise, I'd take Royal Farms over both of them.

        • Not sure if it's in been mentioned already in the thread since I'm late to the party, but Sheetz has been expanding pretty rapidly where I live in the metro Detroit area.

I'm not from Pennsylvania, so this may be a silly question, but I'll ask here: is it common for Wawas/Sheetz to be so clustered together? By the end of the year, there will be 3 different Sheetz locations within a 2-mile radius of where I live, and for how big they are compared to other gas stations and convenience stores around here, it seems to be a little overkill to me.

            • I lived in Royal Farms territory for about 5 years. When it's good, it's good, but it's highly dependent on location. And, if you're not in the mood for fried chicken, the selection is just OK. It's great for an occasional visit but living in Wawa territory is much better.
