    That's actually kind of shocking

I've found you have to spice this up some to make it work and keep it interesting -- and to keep people playing as the weeks go by. If I'd just list the PSAC games, head to head, ... about 95% of people would turn in the same card every week.

What's the point of listing SRU hosting Seton Hill straight up ... 100% all pick SRU. Now, toss out 24.5 points to SH ... and, it at least makes you think a little bit. Based on the picks so far, it appears that 24.5 was too light to entice anybody to pick SH. But, it's only Tuesday.

Cal getting 10.5 last week at Shepherd turned out to be the most missed game of the week. Nearly everybody took Shepherd to cover the number.

The random, non-PSAC games either force you to flip a coin or actually research a bit. Logic all pointed to Western Oregon last week -- and, nearly all took Western Oregon. Western New Mexico had other plans. Scores as a whole were bad last week. The field did much better in Weeks 1-2.

I do try and make the bonus questions pretty tough.

I will add you'd be shocked by some of the private messages I've received over these point spreads. Not because we're promoting gambling but because people close to these programs feel they are too high or too low.

That said, I usually try and have one MEC game per week because we do have a lot of MEC people who play in our game (and many Shepherd fans still pay attention to the MEC).

Millersville (+17.5) at West Chester - By far the worst team the Rams have faced this season.
Edinboro (+7.5) at California - After two tough losses, Cal is going to want to put this away quickly.
Shepherd at Kutztown (+3.5) - the Rams O vs. Bears D matchup lost some shine with the Lakers' 31-spot last week.
Gannon at Clarion (+10.5) - Beating LHU is nice, but this is a reality check.
Lock Haven (+24.5) at East Stroudsburg - Warriors have an annoying habit of playing to the level of their opposition. ESU by 21.
Shippensburg (+7.5) at Bloomsburg - I see this as a coin flip game, so give me the spread.
Mercyhurst (+10.5) at IUP - Shootout alert. IUP could hit 60.
Seton Hill (+24.5) at Slippery Rock - Good spread. Don't think the Griffins can hang.
Glenville State at Wheeling - Lots of teams in the mediocre middle of the MEC this year. Tough to call either way.
Tusculum at Catawba - Mostly a guess.
Marietta at Otterbein - Mostly a guess part 2.
    Bethany (+17.5) at Washington & Jefferson - Mostly a guess part 3.

    * Bonus *

    * This PSAC VISITING team will score the least points in Week 4: Seton Hill
    * Seton Hill will score over or under 14.5 points: UNDER
    * This PSAC QB will throw for the most yards in Week 4: Mak Sexton

    Week 4

    Millersville (+17.5) at West Chester

Edinboro (+7.5) at California: I see this as a trap game for Cal - Edinboro might squeak by. They could have won last year. But it will be close.

Shepherd at Kutztown (+3.5): For whatever reason, Shep didn't run much last week. They are too well coached to make that mistake twice.

Gannon at Clarion (+10.5): Last week was an anomaly for Clarion. #LitAF lights it up.

Lock Haven (+24.5) at East Stroudsburg: Lock Haven is still bad and ESU is only improving.

Shippensburg (+7.5) at Bloomsburg: Neither team very impressive, but I think I've seen enough of Bloom to think they cover.

Mercyhurst (+10.5) at IUP: IUP loves themselves a trap game.

Seton Hill (+24.5) at Slippery Rock: Village Fest at the Rock (annual celebration of ending dry status lol)

Glenville State at Wheeling: Kellar will win on coaching alone.

Tusculum at Catawba: Battle of the 90s powerhouses.

Marietta at Otterbein: Coin toss - I know a guy who played for Marietta.

Bethany (+17.5) at Washington & Jefferson: I don't know how Bethany pays its bills. W&J in a landslide.

    * Bonus *

    * This PSAC VISITING team will score the least points in Week 4: Seton Hill

    * Seton Hill will score over or under 14.5 points UNDER

    * This PSAC QB will throw for the most yards in Week 4: Grover (SRU)
