Well, they haven't been able to compete with the schools you name, or much of anyone else, for the past 30 years or so. Will this time be different? That remains to be seen.

Oh its roughly 40 years. They used to be good for an upset every once in a while. Unfortunately, if this coach is the least bit successful, he's going to jump ship and the cycle starts over.

I root for the underdog (unless they are playing my team). There is nobody more underdog than LHU football.

Just goes to show that “commitments” don’t mean anything until the pen actually hits the paper. I don’t blame guys for changing their mind since teams regularly show they’re not committed to the “student-athletes” and coaches come and go too.

Often times it's as simple as a better offer coming along. Money and program prestige talks.

It’s how it goes in most bars on a Saturday..,you give a verbal to hookup but then at 1:30 am you might get a better offer and move on.
