In all fairness, I imagine the coach who recruited him is no longer there.

True. LHU will never be able to dig out of the hole they are in. They will never be able to compete with such Eastern Division football powerhouses like Bloom, ESU, Millersville, Ship. It's a pipe dream.

Well, they haven't been able to compete with the schools you name, or much of anyone else, for the past 30 years or so. Will this time be different? That remains to be seen.

Oh its roughly 40 years. They used to be good for an upset every once in a while. Unfortunately, if this coach is the least bit successful, he's going to jump ship and the cycle starts over.

I root for the underdog (unless they are playing my team). There is nobody more underdog than LHU football.

HC Fisher caught lightening in a bottle in 1979. It wasn't expected and hasn't been close since, but who knows, maybe lighting strikes twice and they get another championship soon. That is a weak list of powerhouses btw.

Ms. Taylor buried it a long time ago.

Lock Haven vs Cheyney for the 1979 State Game was Bizarro World.

In 1979 Millersville won the East but elected to play Wittenburg in the D3 playoffs instead of playing in the state game.

Since he left out Shepherd and Kutztown, I think it was an attempt at sarcasm.

Often times it's as simple as a better offer coming along. Money and program prestige talks.

It’s how it goes in most bars on a Saturday..,you give a verbal to hookup but then at 1:30 am you might get a better offer and move on.

                                :-)
