They should also find and show film of the Jay Dedea-to-Curtis Still miracle TD to win the East in 1984 at West Chester. Still one of the most remarkable plays of my lifetime.

Agree. I was in the visiting stands at West Chester on 11-3-84 and it was as exciting as Flutie's Hail Mary pass on 11-23-84. There is no video on the internet, but somebody should get the film from the schools and post it. I know the radio broadcast by Bloom's Jim Doyle was published as part of a book/CD compilation. There are some old newspaper articles. Bloom has a write-up by the librarian historian.

That was quite an amazing season for Bloom to finish 12-3 and in the national final after losing their first two games, including one to a 5-6 Shippensburg game.I was at the 49-42 Ship win in 2012, which was one of the more exciting PSAC games I've seen.

I wish I still had my game story on it for The Patriot-News. I might have to look for it again on newspapers.com.

It was the first time I had encountered a full crowd stunned into silence for two full beats after Dedea's bomb settled in Still's belly.

            • Watched a couple of interviews with HC Sheptock and OC Landis. Sheptock said the line of scrimmage should be a strength this season as the OL and DL are deeper and more experienced. There is also more depth in the kicking game.

Landis reported he will also be coaching the punting team. RB has depth and returns the rookie of the year in Clancy. They tried to get QB Riley a 5th year, but failed. In the future players will apparently have an opportunity for a 5th year to play. Riley will be on the coaching staff. QB is an open job with 5 competing. Landis said the offense will continue to be a triple option out of the shotgun. Preseason camp starts August 9th.

Where did you see the interviews?

                  • These were good watches. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the upcoming season! The Huskies will still be a young group but a group with some experience, which hopefully will bode well for them. It probably goes without saying that a lot hinges on whoever the new QB1 is. I think they will be very run heavy early on in the season while the new guy gets his feet under him. Hopefully they’ll have a strong run game and strong enough defense to win some games early on.

He will be a high school senior this year.

"Zimmerman was named First Team All-Colonial League Red Division at both slot and outside linebacker. He also earned Pennsylvania Writers’ Class 3A All-State honors at wide receiver and was selected to the PFN Class 3A Coaches Select First Team All-State squad at Slot/HB"

Also noticed another IUP transfer added to the roster: CB Ryan Jeter. In high school he was PA All State CB ‘23 • State Champion ‘22
