My only complaint is the 12pm kickoffs. My son's pee wee football season means I'll probably catch zero home games before November.
I believe the Bloomsburg game also counts as non-conference, for whatever it's worth

Well, not even the mandated cross-division games count in the conference standings.

They do appear in the tiebreaking criteria.

            Nor should they.

It’s the same schedule as last year. The only thing that’s changed is the order and the balance of home vs. away games.

It's a tough November but September and October look manageable. Plus, there's a chance that Rock makes the State Game and gets replaced.

You guys got Seton Hill and Edinboro as the crossovers, Slippery Rock will be in the state game. I'd say that is quite favorable given you are avoiding IUP/Cal and most likely won't play Rock. Beyond that, you play the same schedule every year.

Too many holes to fill, both RBs, Defensive Player of year and two-time Harlon Hill finalist at QB

Rock is just in reload mode. Hard not to see them as front runners for the region/conference.

Agreed. Lutz and his crew did some nice recruiting of impact transfers. Lots of D1 guys and guys who had D1 offers. Biggest name is PSAC East first teamer Brett Kwoka. The most intriguing one for me is the QB Anthony Vespo. Previously team captain at two D2 football schools.

We are lucky in that I think we have a very dynamic conference. SRU reloads. I think IUP has a real opportunity. Then Cal is always in the mix. Gannon has potential. I think the West is emerging as a tougher conference than the East. Kutztown is the obvious leader in the East, but ESU, Bloom, and LHU are improving. WCU is always a surprise. Ok, so Ship and Shep seem to be down but I think Shep will regain its competitive form. Should be an interesting 2025.

                          • It's hard to call anybody the favorite when we haven't even seen Fall rosters yet. These teams are going to change in the coming days. Imports are on the way. Some will be high-profile. Others will be eventual flops. Some names will disappear from our rosters over the summer and never be heard from again.

Grades, by the way, aren't out yet, either. Don't forget that little nugget.

Transfers all look good the day they sign. Most don't look so good by late September.

Intriguing is maybe an understatement, I did a deep dive on him; this is his 3rd stop, I guess not a big deal these days, yes he has been hurt, but when he has played he really has not lit it up. There seems to be a big emphasis on him being a team captain on every team he has been on, but you still have to produce on the field. Just thinking coaching staff reluctant to turn the reigns to
an inexperienced young talent, in hoping they stay and follow the Brayden Long model.

                              • As to the transfers, only 2 are one year guys,, the rest have multiple years of eligibility. But in these days that does not mean much; the guys with 3 yrs of eligibility can leave after 1 yr if they chose.

And last year a couple of transfers announced in the Spring, did not make it to the fall roster, the ol from Cal and the safety form Bowling Green.
