Who doesn't like Cal and Stanford in the ACC lol
They fit right in.

Clobbered? East has won 4 out of the last 6 PSAC state games. West Chester won the last one in 2018 (kutztown the other 3). If they have improved enough to take the East, they aren't getting clobbered by anyone in the West.Originally posted by ctrabs74 View Post
And that also puts Assumption at nine D2 football games. I'm pretty sure the folks up in "fake Woos-tah" (that's "Worcester" for you non-New Englanders) were probably aware of the risks when they signed the contract. To be honest, do you really think West Chester will improve enough to overtake Kutztown and/or East Stroudsburg (or, for that matter, Bloomsburg or Shepherd) for the right to get clobbered by Cal or Slippy Rock in the State Game?
That notion that the West is still superior to the East faded about 5 or 6 years ago. Frankly the East is better than the West in the last handful of years.

Much like the East did when Cheyney was replaced by Shepherd. East is a bit of a gauntlet now. Kutztown is king, but there aren't any walkover games besides Millersville and Ship. Even those 2 can get feisty.Originally posted by EastStroud13 View PostTo be fair to the West, they got a lot better when they ditched Mercyhurst. 😏

That's not my perception. I'm not taking the time to compile a bunch of statistics. The East has Kutztown. The West has 3 powers. The East has a rising ESU and LHU (maybe). There isn't much to be said for the rest of that division, although Bloom might be rebounding. We'll see. I'm betting on the West.Originally posted by Ram040506 View Post

The west has 3 powers just cause you say it does? IUP is 13-8 over the last 2 seasons. That's a Power? They won the PSAC in 2022, but who ended their season again that year in an absolute drubbing? Cal had a good year last year, but hadn't made it to the playoffs since 2018. By that logic, its only Kutztown and Slippery Rock.Originally posted by iupgroundhog View Post

What is Shepherd's record for the last 2 years?
IUP should have been 10-0 in the regular season.
It's still too soon to talk about.
LOL (but not really)
That was one of the more painful seasons to watch as a fan. So close. So far.

I don't think it was for this past year, but I didn't really care to dive into a ruling that had very little consequence on the here and now. I'll say their record was below expectations for the program though.Originally posted by iupgroundhog View Post
I thought the NCAA ruling included that they had to vacate their wins. No?
Beyond that, their record the last 2 years is 15-8, with a playoff appearance. Not a power though, just like your school isn't.

It was for the 2022/23 seasons. So, the record for the last 4 seasons should be about 15-30 something, or so.Originally posted by Ram040506 View Post
