I'm hearing Frostburg State is going to happen in future years as a Home and home. Hopefully they lock that in.

    Is Reid retiring?

Back in the day, I thought we would have been a good fit for the CIAA. With Bowie State, VA. State/Union being so close and traveling down to Wingate it seemed each year - the travel wasn't too bad.

Finally, the rumors can be put to rest. Frostburg vs Shepherd for the next 6 years. Starting this fall @ Frostburg.

That would give the Warriors 12 games.

Makes sense. It's a relatively short trip west for Shepherd in the interstates.

ESU is supposed to host Edinboro on 9/20 according to the PSAC schedule, so they're probably just moving that game into August and taking a bye that week if I had to guess

Apparently Frostburg State recently announced a 6-year scheduling agreement with Shepherd.

Week 0 this year with an evening game at Frostburg. Week 1 all subsequent years.

Edit: Somehow I missed the post above by Ram040506 announcing it.

Not if you include a bye week later on...

The 2025 PSAC schedule doesn’t have a bye week for East Stroudsburg.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you mean. The PSAC schedule doesn't reflect moving the Edinboro game.

Would this imply the Frostburg State to the PSAC rumors can be finally put to rest?

Obviously, if they were to join, this could all be quickly re-arranged (if needed).

I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but Frostburg State plays at Millersville Week 1. Between them, Shep, and Cal, Frostburg has got a full PSAC non-conference slate lined up

Well that says to me we might want to join.

Didn't the PSAC commish say it was a Pennsylvania school that wasn't currently D2?

Yes. Frostburg isn't in the immediate consideration. I believe there are 2 main schools the conference is looking at.
