It’s the oddest, most maddening thing ever. I’m already wondering what’s going to happen this year.

Expectations must be pretty low when your worried about a team that got their doors blown off by Ship...
IUP has the entire pre-season camp to prepare for Ashland. Then they will have extra days to prepare for WCU.

Is arriving the day before more of a disadvantage than taking the bus ride to closer venues the morning of the game? I don't know.

Only ever went to one game at West Chester when I was still a college student in the mid-60s. Ship organized a couple of buses to go to the game. We lost (West Chester was usually the league power in those days) a fairly entertaining game and then had a group of town kids heave rocks at our buses as we pulled away. There weren't many dull moments in the 60s.

Would there be interest? Not sure. One way to find out.

It's amazing what having fans with you on the road can do to a team. Neither is a short trip. Perhaps this would motivate some to go.

Clarion posts really nice, in depth game previews each week (usually every Wednesday) which breaks down the players, statistics to date, the matchup, ect which also always includes the probable starters and 2 deep for the week. They used to post the 2 deep for the opponent as well that has fallen off which led to look around a bit. It seems like Clarion, IUP, Rock are the only teams in the west that still post an actual game preview each week which really surprised me. Just curious if anyone else has noticed the same or maybe i haven't been looking in the right places. I feel like this is something that really adds to the experience of the players and the fans...disappointing to see so few teams still doing it.

They can be pretty comical - especially early in the season.
