The Rams are the underdogs for sure vs. the two-time defending champs Tampa. That's a university that's probably D1 bound at some point within the next 5 years. Just making it to the final is great, a championship would be extra sweet.Comment

In the 10th, WCU threw to 3rd on the bunt by Tampa. The 3rd-baseman never lost contact with the bag while the runner over-slid. Shouldn't that have been a force out or did I see something wrong.Comment

Once the runner makes it to the bag ahead of the throw, it's no longer a force out, even if they come off the bag. The fielder would have to tag the runner after the runner loses contact with the bag.Originally posted by Tech Boys View PostComment
