Yep, that tells the entire story of how a Bill that required both sides of the aisle to work together for the people. And you are absolutely right, DeVos has zero bias. Please find more snippets, essays, novels or whatever to support your argument. You might be the most childish person on this board. It is comical.

And you may be the most ignorant on this board for your incapability of accepting the plain simple truths. I wish you better days ahead.

The president sits in the first chair and is merely a figure head. NOTHING GETS PASSED WITHOUT THE CONGRESS. Both House and Senate. The part of the cares act to fund HBCU's is political and intended to buy favor with the Black and Brown people to which will not work. This move is weak and predictable.

If you truly feel that way and you believe the $$$$$ is tainted by alternative motives, immediately contact your chancellor and demand (with protest if needed) that WSSU returns any and all funding from the Cares Act that was signed into play by the president. Also, if you feel that same way about the stimulus check (or checks) you received, please let me know. I will give you an address where you can send that money to, you know, just to make you feel a whole lot better about getting rid of it.

WOW!! My Ole UNCP Braves Bud just told me that the school (started by Native Americans) received 6.2 million dollars in funding as a part of the Cares Act, mostly based on enrollment.

Why do people act as if Trump himself is giving out money. This is OUR money to begin with. This is socialism. It's how many farmers are currently surviving as well due to Trump's policies. So evil of you to be supporting socialist agendas like this.

WOW!! My family friend's dog trainer told me that a percentage of Native Americans don't support BLM or HBCUs. This level of absurdity is literally how you attempt to make your point in every thread. No substance whatsoever. Like having a discussion with a potato.

Moving forward, please do us all a favor and simply ignore my post. Based on the positive feedback I've received through messages etc, it's clear that a lot of people are capable of fully comprehending my post. From what I've observed you really contribute very little to basically any conversation on this board.

My friend's friend told me that based on a study done by some people you're wrong.

Comprehending your posts isn't the problem, you simply constantly state research without providing it or everything you're saying was told to you by someone else. That's not really how intelligent discussions go. If there is a study then provide it, otherwise I can also completely make up a study or research that fits a narrative as well. Congrats on getting messages from people on a message board though, I'm glad such a thing makes you feel special.

I wasn't aware the responsibility was on others to research claims made by someone. What a silly way of thinking. Hey I saw this research that said X, Y, and Z, good luck finding it. Not that hard to include with the statement referring to it.

A true gamechanger put into place this year for struggling HBCU / TCCU Institutions.

Institutions may use this funding to cover the cost of technology associated with a transition to distance education, grants to cover the costs of attendance for eligible students, and faculty and staff trainings. Additionally, funds may be used to cover operational costs, such as lost revenue, reimbursements for prior expenses, and payroll.

These additional funding allocations to MSIs, including HBCUs and TCCUs, and institutions eligible for the Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) represent 7.5 percent of overall HEER funds, or around $1 billion. This funding is provided on top of the primary HEER Fund allocation announced earlier in April. HBCUs, for example, will collectively receive an additional $577 million through the awards announced today. That amount is on top of the $353 million amount that the Department allocated to HBCUs through the HEER Fund earlier in the month. TCCUs will receive over $50 million in this round of HEER funding, bringing the total allocation to TCCUs under the fund to $65 million.

The HEER Fund also sets aside 2.5 percent of the HEER Fund ($349 million) to address the greatest unmet needs related to the coronavirus, giving priority to schools that have not been allocated at least $500,000 from the fund. The Department is deploying these funds to ensure that every eligible public and private nonprofit institution will receive at least $500,000 in CARES Act relief funding.
