Man it's been so long there is about to be no real logic to picking this week.

Shaw at #21 Wingate (South Atlantic) 6pm - I think Shaw will present a challenge, but Wingate will pull this one out.
Chowan at Mars Hill (South Atlantic) 7pm - I hope this isn't me having false hope, but I think Chowan has some offensive weapons that can win this game for them.

Saturday Games

Tusculum (South Atlantic) at St. Augustine's 1pm - I think St Augs is in for a rough season, and this game will probably be really bad for them.
Clark Atlantic (SIAC) at Livingstone 1:30 - I hope this one doesn't burn me, but I'm believing that the Blue Bears are going to field a more competitive team this year which starts with a week 1 victory.
Fayetteville State at Elizabeth City State (Non-Conference/Down East Viking Football Classic) 4pm - FSU has some holes to fill, but they should still have more than enough to take care of ECSU.
Bowie State at Delaware State (FCS - MEAC) 4pm - Del State getting beat by a CIAA school wouldn't be new as Chowan beat them a few years ago. The combination of Del State being FCS, playing a Spring schedule, and Bowie starting a little slow in 2019 (they could have easily lost to AIC and Shaw) has me picking Del State.
UNC-Pembroke (MEC) at Winston-Salem State 6pm - N/A, o what could have been.
Lock Haven (PSAC) at Lincoln PA 6pm - Hopefully this gap of time will lead to a better Lincoln team, I'm just not bold enough to pick them at this point.
Lenoir Rhyne (SAC) at Virginia State 6pm - If there was ever the chance for a CIAA statement game this would be it. I think VSU will play LR tough, and I'm pulling for them, but I just don't see VSU pulling this one out.
Virginia Union at Hampton (FCS - Big South) 6pm - VUU straight up beat Hampton last time they played. I think Hampton has too much of a chip on their shoulder to let that upset happen again.
