Way too much time left in the game to not score again.

Valdosta has been bleeding the clock the entire 2nd half. If they get the ball back they won't score, just run out the clock.

Great question. Sheperd is the only non #1 so I would guess they would draw Ferris since Ferris is highest #1?

Great playing Bowie you definitely played a closer game than I thought was possible. I really thought playing away from home you guys would lose by at least 38 points. Valdosta is one tough out especially at home.

                  Damn, dang, darn!

Tough break for Bowie. Gotta work on breaking through to that next level. It was a good season nonetheless.

Decent showing Bulldogs, a huge improvement over last time and your offense couldn't play their best (hobbled QB), keep at it. Congratulations on the season though, take solace in the fact that you were one of the last 8 teams playing today.

Despite the loss, Bowie State has a lot to feel good about; the Bulldogs made their first ever national quarterfinal appearance and were respectable for much of the game against a powerhouse team in Valdosta State. Congrats to Bowie State for a really fine season.

Now (speaking as a PSAC guy) we just need Bowie State to start scheduling home and homes with PSAC teams that make geographic and competition sense (obviously Shepherd, probably West Chester, possibly Kutztown and/or Shippensburg) and we're all set!
