Some of the Smith Alums and football supporters around here keep talking about how much better the team will be with Flowers back as head coach. They are telling me he has been fishing in the portal and has landed some experienced players out of FCS schools and has had a good freshman recruiting year. These fellows at the bar up here in the Hickory hills are excited and I'm glad for them. The Golden Bulls have been in the dumper too long. The WSS Omegas rag on them like dogs. It's time for Biddle University to rise up (Biddle once was the name of Smith)

JCSU has two winnable games to start the season. If they actually win those games then I will believe they might have turned the page and can move on from obscurity.
