Shepherd threw for 358 yards against Ohio Dominican. Ran for 101.

Shepherd turned the ball over 4 times, which is a back breaker.

Ohio Dominican only had 56 yards rushing but had 273 yards passing.

We need to just play our game, test our vertical game early, get some pressure on their QB and protect the ball.

If we can do that we'll have a chance.

VSU has a clear talent advantage, but it's also only the second game with the new staff. The post above about Shepherd having four turnovers gets me to wondering as to whether OD took the ball away four times, or did Shepherd just play sloppy? If it is the former, that could be a key to this game as turnovers could keep OD in striking distance. If VSU protects the ball, they should be ride their talent.
