Congrats to the Blazers, the Argos had their chances but they just dropped too many passes in key moments. Both teams shot themselves in the foot multiple times with penalties. Wells always seems to make the right play at the right time, he put on a clinic in the first half. If by chance they meet again in the playoffs, I hope the Argos can play as well in both halves as they did in the 2nd half tonight.

Have had a lot of respect for Shinnick and Nobles. Also have a lot of respect for the tenacity of the players.

Actually, I hope we win next week and that the Argos and Lenoir Rhyne get to play each other in the first round. That way we eliminate the possibility of playing both teams (which I think would be a load).

West Florida was good but still not a top 10 opponent good. The post season makes me nervous because we are very beatable and far from hitting on a cylinders. The penalties hurted us last year but we still blowed teams out other than NDC & Ferris State. Goff was left with an gold mine and high powered championship team but we getting average offensive play. We never won back 2 back and we finally got the talent to do.

My thoughts exactly, I was about to start a "Valdosta, we have a problem" thread but then thought about it and realized this game is a result of two good teams playing a football game. Bottom line, we won a tough game, end of story.

Great show put on by both teams. I think it was a good day for the GSC because this is what you want a conference championship to feel like and look like. I do hope that the regional rankings play out the way they should if UWF takes care of business next weekend. I can't imagine the GSC being just a 1 bid league with only the #1 team/defending national champions getting into the playoffs. I would like to think we go into next week feeling comfortable that a win gets us in. I'd love to see these 2 play again, tonight was fun!

Yeah, 538 yards of total offense against a defense that was #1 in the conference and only giving up 264.2 YPG prior to this game is a waste.

VSU is now the #1 offense AND the #1 defense in the conference based on total yards. UWF is still #1 on points allowed. They were only allowing 11.0 points per game prior to last night. VSU put 26 up on them.

UWF was only allowing 119.1 passing yards per game prior to last night, and VSU had 357 yards.
