That may be true across the board. Some of the smaller schools will close. But I am optimistic. I think we will have football in the fall. A lot can happen in a couple of months. A lot can happen in a couple of weeks. A lot can happen in a couple of days.

This is sad to hear. I know few players on that program and am very close to one of the QB's Parents. The President didn't want Football and used this pandemic as an excuse to get rid of the program. This was the easiest way but IMO was premature to do! TO just to Kill the program overnight like this. I feel bad for the 120 players and coaches over there.

I remember him. I'll take as many Lehtio’s on our roster as possible. I hope he brings over some of his buddies as well. Keep them all the heck away from Valdosta and put on that beautiful blue and green!

I'd love to land Evan Thompson. I'd say he would be #1 on my wish list. I was really impressed by him in the Coastal Classic. He's a Florida kid and I love having good linebackers. Let's get him in an Arete shirt!

That tweet got me a bit. Woof. Englehart will be a huge get for any team lucky enough to pick him up.

                  Interesting information:

All football scholarships will be honored for as many as four years, Florida Tech announced.

After a $2.1-million startup cost, the football team was accounting for $3.1 million of Florida Tech's $10.7 million athletic budget and operated at a net loss of $4,500 in 2018, Florida Today reported Monday about the last financial figures available.

Florida Tech had also eliminated men's tennis, women's tennis and women's golf — which, as a lame-duck program, went on to win the NCAA Division II championship — last year.
