Now that the football season has unceremoniously ended it's time to check in on recruiting and the transfer portal. It looks like the Argos have their first 2021 departure in RB Jervon Newton Jr.

This should be an interesting off-season. West Florida will lose 2 top WR's, 2 RB's , TE, and 2 starting OL on offense and 9 out of 11 starters on D as well as back ups and special teams players. I guess if there was one positive that came out of the injuries the Argos sustained this year, a lot of the young guys got valuable game experience.

Could be, I didn't look to see who the other schools were. The Argo men's teams have been eliminated from the NCAA playoffs but the Lady Argos are in the sweet 16 in soccer and the volleyball team is the #1 seed in the south region.
