They are leaving Friday morning from Pcola and Staying overnight near Lake Charles. They couldn't get a hotel big enough to fit team in LC.

There are plenty of hotels that are big enough especially the casino ones. The problem is there aren't enough rooms available due to all of the evacuated people from the other side of the state taking up a lot of the rooms. We are on the opposite side of the state from New Orleans close to the Texas border. Ida didn't affect us at all and even made our weather better.

I was wondering when they would bring out the blue helmets. I'm glad to see them back in the rotation. I like them better than the white ones.

I'm surprised to see you say that (everyone is allowed their own opinion). I hate the blue argo on the blue helmets. It has never made any sense to me. You can barely see it much less tell what it is. The blue helmets would be very cool with the UWF logo on them in white. It just makes no sense whatsoever to do the blue logo on blue helmets. I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has and it's the ONLY thing I can think of that I don't LOVE about the program from top to bottom. I strongly wish the blue helmets would get a much-needed update. I love the white helmets. It's time for the blue logo on blue helmets to be retired.

Hoping for a West Florida win, especially for the kids. It's always fun to beat a team in a higher division.
While playing at DSU, we beat Stephen F. Austin and Jackson State. Definitely exciting to beat the bigger schools.
