Delta State will right the ship. West AL has a very good team, especially the QB and RBs, but the Fighting Okra will pull the upset. They had West FL beat, and it seems they did not recover from that loss, resulting in an unexpected blowout loss to VSU followed up with a close loss with NGU, but I think they will get back on track this Saturday. Good luck to both teams.
What do you think is the issue? Conditioning? Execution? Effort? Mental mistakes?
Early on, it seemed we couldn't play a full game. We were only able to play well one half. Execution also seemed bad on offense. Mental mistakes as far as shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties. I think there were some poor coaching calls along the way, too. At this point, though, it's probably a combination of everything you mentioned.

Coaches need to pinpoint some issues to work on and tell the players that as a team we are going to address these issues. Make a plan for each issue. It all starts with conditioning. If you can't play for 4 quarters you're in trouble. And then somewhere in all this is your history. Your tradition. Players need to learn about and understand what DSU football is all about.
??????Anywho, just a few thoughts. Hope the coaches figure it out soon.
