Spring Game was one of the best we have had in many years. A great crowd was on hand to watch the game with Team Red and Team Black ending in a 24-24 tie. It was good to see QB Ivory Durham throwing for three touchdowns in the 2nd half. Also good to see how QB Sam Edwards has improved tremendously over the past year. Will be important going forward to have at least 2 strong QB's. Also good to see returning running backs Seth McGill and Jamar Thompkins doing their thing! Defense looked pretty good even though they are learning their 3rd defensive system in 3 years. Coach complimented the defense on their ability to learn and embrace once again another new system.
Our local radio did a broadcast of the game. Many thanks to Talk92 and Spencer Van Horn for calling the game. Players did a great job.
Again, just so great to see so many people at the game - one of the largest crowds we have had at a sping game since......I can't remember......Woohoo!!
