Certainly not an ideal schedule, I cannot believe that this is the best they can do. What in the world is a "GSC Regional Game"?

        Weird.

New for 2022 will be a GSC Regional Game that will have the Argonauts face a conference member for a second time in an effort to aid the resumes for postseason consideration across the league. That game will be announced November 6, 2022.

The writing was on the wall for the Argos to have to move their home games on campus when MLB took over control of Minor League Baseball. Combine that with The Blue Wahoos becoming the affiliate of the Miami Marlins who change all of their minor league stadium surfaces to a special artificial turf and it really doesn't make if financially viable for UWF to continue to play downtown.

Will be interesting to see how this affects season ticket prices and attendance.

Looking at the field, you could start with those portable stands and then build a media booth and add permanent stands later. It could be a good thing. especially if more students will attend.

Any word on building out a stadium? I did find the link below but it is from 2016. Moving on campus is the better long term play.

Like building a stadium? Lol. Yes. Other than the field, they are starting from scratch. Reminds me of about 2009 when Hugh Freeze was the coach at Lambuth and they were in the GSC. They literally had couches around their field for people to sit on! Lol.

Maybe with some recent roster changes and question at the QB position, a D2 team may bite. From the names in the portal Coach Schinick has a great opportunity to sneak in a good one. There are still weapons there to be used and could be attractive for a talented QB to come in.

Agreed, Blue Wahoo Stadium was a great venue to watch UWF. The Atmosphere on campus was great but nothing like Downtown Pcola after a football game
