Wow, I'm surprised at this result, mainly because the UWA fan base have had such low expectations while UWF just the opposite.
I'm not on the forum as much as in the past so I could be wrong but it's surprising that Argo support on the forum seems to have fallen off.

BTW Coach Gillilan hasn’t called plays since his second or third year at UWA.
This game reminded all of us exactly how good this conference is. We will all miss it in a couple years when it’s in shambles.

Not sure where to start. Must have been tough on you during the writers strike. Bet you missed all of your SNL friends.
1-Nothing posted so far by any "amusing UWA fan" can EVER rival all the arrows "the LOYAL VSU fans" shot at Coach Jackson last season.
2-That team just north Bi###es but wins.
3-People probably closer than you might disagree.....maybe true during Bailey tenure, not so much with their returning OC this season. Regardless, look at Coach Gilligans UWA record. whoever is calling plays it's HIS job to see that SOMEONE is calling plays that win games.
4-Shambles? It's already here, friend. Look what current GSC Admin has done to the once premier conference.
Haven't watched SNL in 20 years, but I enjoyed your episode.

Nonetheless I took your advice. I looked at Gillian’s record. 60-40 a GSC title and multiple playoff appearances in his 8 and a half seasons at UWA so a 60% win percentage at a school that for 35+ years couldn’t find a winning season. So then I wondered who did better than that. And I remembered you talking about Coach Hall. So I looked wow he won 69% of his games 25-11. Just for fun I looked at the opponents and that will give you a good laugh. Those three years the GSC was a 5 team league so there was some interesting little league and sisters of the poor on those schedules. But nevermind don’t let me bore you and mess up your talking points with facts lol.
lastly, for the second time there is no comparison in UWAs past and VSUs past so when we go from a NC title game to a losing season that is quite a drop and warrants concern. But i would still say some of my fellow Blazers were over the top last year but expectations should be different here.

While I'm "throwing" let me throw this.
Gilligan has lost 14 of his last 23 games.
