The Blazers come to Penn Air Field for the first time this Saturday afternoon and the weather will be sunny in low 80’s. Game is 4 pm CST and gates open at 3 pm to get best seat on visitors side. Parking by tennis courts is $20 or free if you park further away. Multiple food trucks are present with variety of concessions and there is no reentry if you leave fenced area of stadium.
Blazers won first 4 games of series and the Argos have won last 3 including OT win in Valdosta last year 32-31 by converting 2 point conversion in first OT.
Argos have won at home this year by scores of 35-3, 49-21 and 42-3 by piling up more yards of total offense each successive game (400, 480 and 620). The Blazers have won on the road by scores of 21-16, 51-36 and 21-10 and were held to 100 yards under their offensive average in the close wins over Albany St. and Miss. College.
The Blazers produce 40 more yards on offense and one more TD than the Argos, but the Argos give up 80 yards and one less TD on defense. They both run for roughly the same amount of yards, but the Blazers pass for 40 more. Their pass defense is within 20 yards of each other, but the Argos give up 60 yards less on the ground, make more picks (10-6) and make more sacks (24-15).
