I agree. The Argos best chance at win is to play keep away and flip the field position a few times with turnovers and punt returns. They will not win offensive shootout with Blazers; they need to keep score down and ball control the clock.

Slowing down Blazer run game just causes Blazers to use their top of league passing attack more, which is not really a win on defense. It will be great game to see how they game plan the other.

Should be a good contest(hopefully for 60 minutes)
While I don't have a dog in this fight, I look forward to VSU's excellent Communications Dept and their game presentation.

If I were WF I would just run the ball every play. We can't stop the run!

So am I missing something. In years past VSU would already be assured at least a share of the GSC Championship. This year the conference is going to let a hurricane penalize teams potentially?
I would be really pissed if I was UWA and we all finish with 1 loss and UWF gets handed a trophy? I guess hurricanes can affect who our champion is even with a head to head game? Wow

Are you suggesting west Alabama should get a share of the conference title even though they lost to a barely 500 Delta state team? And had the privilege to not play the number one team in the nation!?
let’s not kid ourselves and say poor west Alabama they had the easiest path to the GSC title by not having to play Valdosta state…

all the tigers had to do was beat a delta state team that both West Florida and Valdosta State beat by 3 touchdowns..
instead they were beat by the statesman by I believe 2 touchdowns…

ultimately the GSC title is crowned by GSC standing winning percentage which Valdosta state and West Florida will both have a higher winning percentage in the GSC with either team winning this game.

I’m saying is that in years past if us, WF, and WA all ended with one conference loss we would all share the title. If we were to lose to WF that would be the case so we would still be co-champs. This year if we all end with one loss then WF will be named out right champ. So yes if that happens and I was at WA and WF gets the outright championship after WA beating them on the field yeah I would have a problem with that. So a hurricane will have kept for sure one of us in that scenario from being a co-champion.
To your comment on Delta St. Yes they lost to Delta. I watched it they beat them everywhere but the scoreboard. After dropping TD after TD but yes loss the game. But I do think WA is the most physical team in the conference. I think that is shown by the fact that none of the GSC teams they played won a game the next week. That says something to people who know football.
But to your point all of this will not matter because there isn’t anyway we could lose this weekend to a team that lost to WA because WA lost to Delta. Thanks I feel better now. Not even sure why we are playing the game at this point.

As Argo fan I want my team to win to make the playoffs; I don’t really care about the sole or shared GSC title. As GSC fan I want the Argos to win so all 3 teams make the playoffs and they can settle this argument on the playoff field. Gooo Arrrgggooosss!!!

I want to see a good game, a blow out either way doesn't help the Blazers, I don't even mind a close loss. Yep, I'm still a firm believer in iron sharpens iron, and the Blazers can use a tough test after a really soft schedule.
