In review of Delta State's football schedule, there's actually a good chance that they could start the 2025 season with 3 losses before potentially picking up a W against the rebuilding FVSU. The Fighting Okra may be looking at 4 - 6 season this year.
Now, the good news for the GSC teams is that under the new NCAA ruling, all a team has to do is win 3 (possibly 2) games against the other GSC teams to win the conference title and get into the playoffs this year.
