I watched part of the recent game. It was cool to watch him play again.

This schedule is wild to me. Since following DSU in 2007, I've seen us play over half of this schedule. If I was a bit older, it would be even more.

The construction progress on UWF new stadium has the temporary bleachers taken down on both side and the old home seatback temporary bleachers being reconstructed on the visitor side for this season. The new scoreboard at the north end is finished and it is monstrous. It is taller than the current field lights and may be one of the tallest structures on campus. It is 20 to 30 times larger than the old scoreboard and the screen is almost as wide as the field and approximately 30 yards tall eyeballing it. Very impressive and larger than anything I have seen in the GSC. Nothing else constructed or done other than a lot of digging on the home side and around the complex edges. They had better hurry up finishing the bleachers because game day is fast approaching.

I'm interested in going to my first game at Pen Air Field, especially after the upgrade. I may try to go to Florence to watch UWF vs. UNA in the new stadium in early November.

Latest update on Argo stadium finds the elevator shafts rising on the home side and the old scoreboard on north end has been removed. The is a small LED numeric scoreboard attached to the face of the Gooden building at the south end. It has basic game info of time, score, down and distance and timeouts. The clock was working with a correct time. Don’t know if this is temporary or permanent or if this means the monster video scoreboard at the north end is operationally ready or not.

The temporary seat back bleachers on the visitors side has the first ten rows up and the framework for more rows above that is going up. They are selling tickets for rows above the first ten rows so they better get cracking. Kickoff is 18 days and counting down.
