There may also be goal of an undefeated season and of landing high enough to get home field advantage in the playoffs though the undefeated season sometimes ensures you are one up head to head on another good team that you see again in the playoffs.

Ehhh, we've done at least half, maybe 4 of those. Even if we lost our last 2 games we still make the playoffs, and I don't really consider Catawba to be our biggest rival anymore. Most folks under 35, like myself, really dislike Wingate much more.

An undefeated season has certainly been an expectation here. Home field in the playoff in some ways, but we knew we'd need some outside help for that.
