Busses get 6 miles per gallon.
Two extra hours at 55mph would be 110 miles.
Multiply that by two busses (football) and it is a total of 220 extra miles.
Add in the return trip and that's 440 extra miles.
Divide that by 6 (mpg) and it is 73.33 extra gallons of diesel used.
Multiply that by $3.00 per gallon and it's $220.
So the extra two hours would cost two busses a total of $220.
