With the potential Conference Carolinas Football's footprint (at present) being in SC and NC, with schools such as SC's North Greenville, Erskine College, and even possibly Newberry being in close proximity, a change (based on travel expenses etc) may be in order. Also, based on Wingate's location, they too may fall into the equation.

My math may be off. Anyone feel free to check it.

Busses get 6 miles per gallon.

Two extra hours at 55mph would be 110 miles.

Multiply that by two busses (football) and it is a total of 220 extra miles.

Add in the return trip and that's 440 extra miles.

Divide that by 6 (mpg) and it is 73.33 extra gallons of diesel used.

Multiply that by $3.00 per gallon and it's $220.

So the extra two hours would cost two busses a total of $220.
