How much preseason inertia is still factoring in?

I'm sure there is probably a wee bit, but I use about 7 different criteria. Probably not as in depth as what you use but I ain't that skilled on a spreadsheet lol.

Lenoir-Rhyne and Newberry confuse me (I know you said notes/comments to come later). Newberry lost to NGU but was able to beat L-R. Yet they are both still on the list while NGU isn't?

Looked it up in my spreadsheet.

North Greenville is now #11 in SR2. They are actually .008 points behind Albany for that last spot. Even though NGU beat Newberry, Newberry is still rated higher in four of the rankings I factor in and is receiving votes in the coaches poll, while NGU is not this week. Similar thing as to why L-R is still ranked ahead of Newberry.

If the rankings were based on what I personally think, I would possibly put NGU ahead of both based on resume and the Crusaders H2H win over the Wolves. Newberry's other win was against Barton, who I currently have ranked at #126. Before this last weekend, I thought L-R was good but wasn't sure how good yet. Partly because their big week 1 win was against Virginia State, who I currently have ranked #115 in D2 out of 168 teams as of the week four rankings. NGU beat Newberry, but their other win is Limestone who I currently have #113. So the Limestone-Virginia State games essentially cancel each other out. NGU beat Newberry, L-R lost to them. That's why I'd put NGU ahead IF my personal feelings had anything to do with my rankings.
