The posting in the link I attached makes it sound like they want a replacement game to be played the same day as the UWF game was supposed to be played, unfortunately

I figured that was coming after all of the WF stuff started circulating on social media. Hopefully if WF backed out they had to pay an exit fee since LR went down there last year.

Looks like LR replaced WF with Virginia Union, still on Friday 8/28.

Tax Season Work demands made it impossible for me to attend LR's Spring Scrimmage. Would anyone that was there be willing to share what observations they had?

BearFan1 I was not able to make it to the game either, but I have heard from several sources inside the program that this season is not looking very promising. Most are guessing between 6-8 wins. Hope they are wrong...

Football Coach, thanks for the information. Only thing I have heard is that about half the team is freshman. And my guess is that LR cannot win the SAC with freshman.

Not sure where the blame for the steady decline should be laid: coaching staff; transfer portal; institutional support, etc.

It does seem that LR has/had every advantage to get and retain talent, but, either that advantage has disappeared or we are just not able to complete at the highest levels. And I am obviously guessing.

I am sure people much closer to the hierarchy cannot be real happen.

BearFan1 My understanding is that LR has over 70 new players on the team. I'm not sure how that is possible. How do you lose that many guys??? 2 starters QUIT during or right before (not sure) spring practice.
