My confidence in Allen making it to D2 is declining. We've had a week of practice for fall sports but Allen has not even posted a schedule for any of their 5 fall sports. They do have an article about the football schedule of only 9 games including a club team and home games being played at a high school stadium 12 miles away in another town. This is not a good look for a school that is already having to repeat Year 1.Comment

Allen making this move is still surprising to me. To say there is little interest in Allen athletics in the Columbia area would be an understatement. USC is king and Benedict and SC State (about 40 minutes away) already take up the HBCU fan base.Originally posted by Tech Boys View Post

When it comes to their stadium this year that won't help matters either; however, I think they've had a different "home stadium" each season. They have no room whatsoever to build a stadium, so their best bet is convincing Benedict to let them play at Benedict's stadium.
