Valdosta State just lost their first three scheduled games of the year with the SIAC cancelling football this fall -- Savannah State, Kentucky State, and Albany State. Wow!

Really hate to hear this but the SIAC won't be the last. Really unfortunate considering I have three very close friends on the coaching staff at Albany.

Does anybody know what D2 teams are able to do during this off season. Are they allowed to practice, recruit for the spring?

All d2 schools have to follow local guidelines for health and safety

if given the okay a d2 team could practice like the spring - 15 days in a 36 day window with 1 day off a week

Then you go into 8 hours - 2 if skill with 8 students and 1 coach and 6 hours of weights & conditioning with 2 days off
