So is Edward Waters a SIAC member now or are they still transitioning? Big win for Benedict either way!

They were approved this summer to be a provisional year one member, along with Emory and Henry. Allen University, which was in PY1 last year is required to repeat it. Full membership is after finishing PY3.

      BTW, other DII transitioning schools:

      PY2: D'Youville College
PY3: College of Staten Island and Frostburg State University

Appreciate the info. Just wasn't entirely sure. Are there any other schools looking to move to DII or is everything on hold you think because of FBS realignment?

Thomas More is beginning their move next year (if approved by the membership committee). They will join the GMAC in their second provisional year.

I forgot... USC Beaufort is scheduled to join the Peach Belt next year from the NAIA. They don't have football and are only now adding basketball.
